pricing
My birth, postpartum and eDoula services are offered on a sliding scale. This means that I offer a price range, and based on your income/ability, you decide what you can pay within that range. I have set up my pricing this way with the hope that my services will be accessible to more people. My consultation fee is a set rate. Unfortunately, I am unable to offer in-person consultation on a sliding scale at this time. Please contact me with any questions.
birth doula services
I am now offering two varieties of birth services.
In the first, I offer a traditional plan of unlimited phone and email support from the time we sign a contract through 2 weeks postpartum, two prenatal visits, labor and birth support, and one postpartum visit.
Suggested Range: $300-$500
In the second, I offer ongoing care beginning in the first or second trimester, monthly visits or phone consultations, unlimited phone and email support from the time we sign a contract through 6 weeks postpartum, support during labor and birth, and two postpartum visits. (One at 24 hours, and one at approximately 1 week) This schedule gives us more time to get to know each other and allows for more time to prepare and learn. In this situation, I am also available to teach basic self assessment techniques – listening to fetal heart tones with a fetoscope (or toilet paper roll!), monitoring blood pressure, and leopold’s maneuver to determine the position of your baby (including techniques to encourage baby to move to an optimal position if necessary).
Suggested Range: $650-$1,200
postpartum doula services
Postpartum doula services are based on an hourly rate. We will decide on the rate that is comfortable for you and include that rate in the contract. I require a 3 hour minimum of services per scheduled day. When we sign the contract, I require a one day deposit to hold your reservation. This is non-refundable, but will count towards your first three hours of service. If you need to modify your schedule or end the service, I ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice since I have reserved your time in my schedule. For cancellations with less than 48 hours notice (except for emergencies), I charge a three hour/minimum day fee.
Suggested Range: $20-$40/hr
eDoula plan
The eDoula plan is based on a monthly charge. This allows you to start and end whenever it is right for YOU. There is no minimum commitment required.
Suggested Range: $20-$40/mo
Phone support throughout labor: $100 one time fee
consultation fee
Consultations take place in my office and are scheduled on a per visit basis. My fee is hourly, however I am happy to work within a time frame that fits your budget. Prenatal consultations last approximately one hour. Breastfeeding consultations typically vary in length from 1-4 hours.
Fee: $30-$40/hr
